DODA, Jan 22: Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Madhav Lal today chaired a meeting of officers to review various developmental works in Bhaderwah.
Among others, the meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner Doda, Shyam Vinod Meena, Director Tourism Jammu R. K Verma, Director Industries Jammu Dr. Abdul Rashid and SDM Bhaderwah Bhupinder Kumar, CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority A.S Rana, Tehsildar Bhaderwah Bashir -ul- Hassan, Chief Planning Officer Doda Y.S Katoch and Executive Engineers PHE, R&B, PDD and Irrigation.
During the meeting, Madhav Lal impressed upon all the officers to work out ways to contribute for betterment of the society. He asked them to make optimum use of the available resources to provide better services to the people. He stressed for coordinated and dedicated efforts for strengthening the developmental initiatives.
He said that the area has witnessed development in various sectors but there is a need to gear up efforts by the concerned line departments to give impetus to the developmental activities for strengthening delivery mechanism and boost tourism.
The meeting started with welcome address by the DDC who briefed the Secretary about various developments works in the Bhaderwah area.
Earlier, the Secretary inspected various sections of the SDM office Bhaderwah and Tehsil Office Bhaderwah, besides he took a round of the town and inspected the newly constructed Bus Stand near GHSS (Boys) Bhaderwah and other development works.
