MSJK burns copies of order on no-parking zones

JAMMU, Sept 3: Activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) here today staged a protest demonstration against Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and burnt the copies of JMC order for making 90 per cent roads of Jammu as no-parking zones.
The protest was led by MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple who claimed that Jammu roads are on grand sale by JMC through yellow lines.
He demanded return of J&K power projects and said that a strong agitation will be started if JMC didn’t rolled back the order on making roads as no parking zones.
Dimple claimed that JMC has given parking contracts to outsiders and demanded that the road parking zones marked by JMC should be made free of cost for parking.
He alleged that since PHE and PDD came under JMC the people are facing long power cuts and acute scarcity of drinking water.
Rekha Devi, Sunita Kumari, Veena Devi, Ram Kapoor, Dev Raj, Raju Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
