Mrs India First Runner-up Jyoti Rupaal wants to work for women empowerment

JAMMU, July 17: Jyoti Rupaal of Udhampur, who was recently crowned as Classic Mrs India-2017 First Runner Up, has expressed her desire to work in the field of women empowerment in the State of J&K, Punjab and UT of Chandigarh.
Jyoti Rupaal had already undertaken cause of women empowerment and organized many activities in Udhampur. “It’s a dream come true. I am the happiest person today. I would like to work in the field of women empowerment in the  State of J&K as well as neighbouring  Punjab and UT of Chandigarh”, she said while talking to media persons, here today.

Representing the State of J&K, Jyoti was crowned as  Classic Mrs India-2017 during a glitterati event,  held in Chennai on July 4, 2017, in  one and only National Pageant for married women,  organized by Deepali Phadnis,  Director of Mrs India Pageants & productions Pvt Ltd, official host of Mrs  World, Mrs Asia International and Mrs Planet.
Jyoti said that it was very difficult for the judges to select the winners and runners up because all the contestants were winners and runners up of their respective State or Zone.   “The finalists were selected in a very streamlined and standardized selection process over a period of time between December 2016 to July 2017, which involved auditions, State and Zonal Pageant culminating in National level pageant,” she informed.
According to Jyoti, the participants were judged right from the day they were crowned at Zonal/State level for their activities undertaken as a Crown holder  towards society. “The contestants were assigned the projects for activities on  ‘Beauty with Heart’ cause, to bring awareness on causes dear to  their hearts,” she added.
In the final, they were put through Photo shoots, personal interview ,  training sessions  round in Nalli Silk sarees and  Traditional Dress round where Jyoti adorned the Kashmiri  embroidered Lehenga bridal wear.
