JAMMU, May 25: Movement for Peace, Equality and Justice (MPEJ) today urged the Lieutenant Governor, GC Mormu to fill all vacant posts by creating the posts of lecturers of all the streams at the Higher Secondary and College levels in rural area of the J&K Union Territory.
“Presently, there are several highly qualified, trained and competent unemployed youth at the verge of attaining upper age limit for employment who are the worst sufferers for the last more than 10 years. They can prove the assets of the education system if they are given the chance to serve the society,” said MPEJ in statement issued here.
The Movement also urged the Lieutenant Governor to amend the most discriminatory SRO-202 which was brought by J&K Government in June 2015, which states that the new entrants in the Government departments would have to stay under probation for initial 5 years before being confirmed as permanent employees.
