JAMMU, July 31: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality and Justice (MPEJ) have urged the State Government to immediately provide all basic amenities during ‘yatra’ days in Paddar. The members Kuldeep Kumar Rao and Ram Singh Chauhan said that the people of Paddar Sub-Division are badly affected with the worst ever BSNL internet and mobile phone services in the area.
They alleged that Mobile phone service of BSNL is very poor and call drops and breaking voice is the main defect in the service, while the concerned company officials are least bothered about the matter, adding that the administration has also become mute spectator.
The embers said that the SDM and Tehsildar Paddar are out of station during yatra days and there is acute shortage of LPG Cylinders and Kerosene oil and other basic amenities in the area, adding that despite numerous representations to the administration and authorities concerned, they have failed to provide basic amenities to the people even during yatra days.
They further said that it is a big opportunity for the State Govt and the Administration to fulfill the aspirations of the people of rural areas irrespective of cast, creed and colour and prove themselves true to their words and deeds so that the neglected, ignored and discriminated, inaccessible, snow bound and remote tourist spots and religious places get proper attention..
