MP Pavilion at International Trade Fair

BHOPAL, July 28:

A special ‘Madhya Pradesh Pavilion’ will be set up at the two-week long ‘Indian International Trade Fair’ to be held in New Delhi from November 14.

Cultural programmes will be held at the pavilion on Madhya Pradesh Day where Gond tribal dance troupe from Mandla district will present traditional Gudum Baja. Besides, Bhagoria dance troupe from Jhabua district will also reach the Trade Fair to perform. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be chief guest and Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya will be special guest at the function, an official release said today.

Chief Secretary R Parasuram chaired a meeting at Mantralaya in connection with preparations for the Trade Fair yesterday. Mr Parasuram said this year’s theme at the Trade Fair is Skilling India.

This international fair is being held at New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan by India Trade Promotion Organisation.

Besides this theme, an additional theme should also be fixed showcasing remarkable works undertaken in Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Secretary directed to make all-out efforts including outstanding cultural programme to mark the 32nd India International Trade Fair-2012. (UNI)
