JAMMU, Oct 1: Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas today laid down the foundation stone of passenger shed near Govt Middle School, Paranjali in Kathua district.
Manhas reiterated that BJP Government at the Centre and in State is working for the upliftment of down trodden and committed to fufill the dream of Pt Deendayal Upadhayay.
Fulfilling the long pending demand of village Paranjali, MP (RS) Shamsher Singh Manhas along with Rashpal Verma, vice chairman OBC Board, today laid the foundation stone of passenger shed near Middle School Paranjali on Billawar Road in Kathua district. This passenger shed would be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 4 lakh provide by him from his MPLAD fund for development work.
The MP today toured several villages of Kathua district and inquired about the well beings of the people residing near the border also. He reiterated that under Antodaya Yojana, every man in the last and in the last queue will get benefit from the schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Manhas informed that recently State Government has launched Prime Minister Ujjawala Yojana which will benefit the women folk of villages who used to cook their food with firewood. PMUJ will change the lifestyle and health issues of women, he added.
On this occasion, Block Development Officer, BJP district president Samba, Sudesh Kumar Mandal president, Advocate Vijay Kumar, State Secretary BJP and prominent people of the village were also present.
