JAMMU, Apr 9: In connection with the bi-annual Durbar Move, the Government offices observing five days week will close here on April 27 after the office hours and offices observing six days week will close on April 28. All the offices will reopen at Srinagar on May 7.
According to an order issued by the Government here today, all the departments will ensure that records are packed after working hours on last working day.
It has been ordered that the offices moving in camp will carry only 33% of the strength of staff in that particular office or 10 officials whichever is minimum or as specifically indicated.
All Departments have been asked to depute their advance parties on April 23 consisting of one Gazetted Officer and four to five Non- Gazetted employees who will receive the records at Srinagar. The departments will ensure that boxes are properly locked and their keys reach the advance parties at Srinagar well in time. The SP Security, Civil Secretariat will furnish a list of defaulting departments in this regard to the General Administration Department.
The Salary for the month of April, 2018 in respect of all the employees working in moving offices will be drawn on April 23.
