KATHUA, June 3: One motorcyclist was killed after the two wheeler, he was driving collided with a scooty at Hote near Lakhanpur today.
He has been identified as Divinder Singh, 18, S/o Ashwani Singh. He was shifted to District Hospital Kathua in a serious condition where doctors declared him as brought dead. His body has been kept in D H Kathua for postmortem. It will be handed over to family after conducting autopsy tomorrow.
The Lakhapur police ahs registered a case under Section 304 RPC. The person driving the scooty managed to escape. The teenager was on his way from Kathua to Hatli and while reaching to a sharp curve a scooty coming from opposite direction collided with it with the result motor cycle skidded on the road resulting into grievous injuries to Divinder.
