UDHAMPUR, July 21: A young motorcyclist was critically injured and his pillion rider got killed when their bike slipped into a deep gorge near Teli Bari, Kud.
The deceased pillion rider was identified as Laxmi Devi (22), daughter of Narayan Singh of Kalu Chak Jammu while the injured, namely Romy Kumar of Bagh-e-Bahu was undergoing treatment at hospital.
The accident took place when the bike, bearing registration number JK02AC-5671, skidded off the road and slipped into gorge. The duo was shifted to Sub-District hospital Chenani where the girl succumbed to her injuries.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
