JAMMU, May 1: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested a motorcycle lifter, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station conducted raid and arrested a motorcycle lifter, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Balbir Kumar, son of Sham Lal, a resident of Geeta Nagar, district Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 19/15 under Section 379 RPC with police station Bagh-e-Bahu.
The accused had stolen the motorcycle bearing registration number JK02H-5191, which is yet to be recovered.
Further questioning of the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu police station Inspector Vijay Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
