REASI, Oct 23: In a tragic road accident, a mother-son duo and 11-year old nephew of the deceased woman were killed while four others were injured when a private load carrier, they were travelling in, turned turtle near Chaklass in Mahore, here this morning.

The load carrier-Tata Mobile (JK20B-3982), was on its way from Pulwama to Chinka Arnas when it met with the accident at Firdousi Morh Chaklass, resulting in on the spot death of three persons and injuries to four others.
The deceased have been identified as Banoo Bibi (42) wife of Mukhtar Ahmad, her five-year old son Murshid Ali and nephew Mohammad Imran (11), son of Mohammad Sharief, all residents of Chinka Arnas.
The injured, shifted to Sub District Hospital Mahore, were identified as Mukhtar (45), Sajad (8), son of Jamal, Arshad Begum (50) wife of Abdul Aziz and her 24-year old daughter Razia Begum, all from Chinka Arnas. The condition of the injured persons is said to be stable.
Reports said that the accident took place this morning around 7.30 am when driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle skidded off the road and turned upside down. Two minor children and mother of one of them came under the overturned vehicle. They reportedly died on the spot while four other, travelling in the ill-fated load carrier, sustained injuries.
