Srinagar, June 3: Police today said a woman was killed and her son was injured in a road accident here in summer capital.
A police spokesman said an oil tanker bearing registration number JK02AB-5086 hit a motorcycle driven by Abid Aamir Khan at Sanatnagar, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and his mother Rafiqa Begum.
“Both the injured were shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment where the lady succumbed to her injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
