JAMMU, Sept 25: Mother Helpage, an international organisation donated an ambulance under Medline Project to the Jagti Camp near here today.  The main aim of this project is to save lives of people and provide them with services so that they don’t have to suffer.  The ambulance will cater the needs of around 4000 families residing in the camp.
Apart from this Mother Helpage distributed school bags and various other educational accessories to the students who are very poor and don’t have enough resources to complete their education. The organisation also distributed sports kit to Youth Club of Jagti Camp.
The organisation organised a Volley Ball match in Jagti under the banner Mother Helpage sports for life. The objective of this project is to engage the youth in sports activities so that they can excel in the field of sports and prepare themselves for national and international level opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Captain (retd) Dr.  Sohail Nasti said “the relation between Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Muslims is a universal bond and we should build harmony and brotherhood”.
While addressing to the youth of Jagti Camp Dr.  Nasti said that the sports can provide a lot of opportunities to the youth to excel them in other fields as well and they can represent themselves at State, national and international levels.
Due to saturation of jobs and increasing number of youth getting involved in drugs, the sports activities will help them to avail better opportunities and provide them a platform to secure their future in a better way.
