KISHTWAR, June 25: The unemployed youths of District Kishtwar today held a meeting under the Chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari wherein employment issues were discussed at length.
The participants in their speeches strongly criticized the Minister of State Public Works Department (PWD) Revenue, Sunil Sharma for not full filling his commitments made with the unemployed youths of Kishtwar during State Legislative Assembly election campaign.
While speaking Joginder Bhandari said that the minister before coming to power was committed to start the Pakal Dul hydroelectric project in April 2015 and also committed to resume the work of Rattle HE project Drabshalla of which the work was suspended in July 2014 by its client M/s GVK Power development.
It may be worth to mention here that the people of Kishtwar had voted Sunil Sharma only on two issues viz supply of drinking water and starting of hydroelectric projects but all his commitments proved hollow.
