More organizations donate for Uttarakhand flood victims

JAMMU, July 8: Beopar Mandal, Shiv Mandir Committee and Bhagwan Gopinath Trust made donations for Uttarakhand flash flood victims.
Beopar Mandal today handed over Rs 1 lakh cheque to Deputy Commissioner Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary for Uttarakhand flash-flood victims.
The cheque was handed over to DC by a delegation of Beopar Mandal led by Jodh Singh, Om Prakash, Sudesh Gandotra and others.
DC appealed to all the citizens, religious and social organization as well as trade unions and associations to come forward and make generous donations for the victims of flash floods in Uttarakhand.
Shiv Mandir Committee, Trikuta Nagar led by its president Devinder Seth presented Rs 41,000 to DC Jammu Ajit Kumar Sahu for the Uttarakhand flash-flood victims on the first day of the three day long donation camp organised by the Committee.
The committee appealed to the people to make generous donations for this noble cause.
Bhagavaan Gopinathji Trust donated Rs 50,000 towards chief minister’s relief fund for the flood victims in Uttarakhand.
