More Institutions celebrate Teachers’ Day

JAMMU, Sept 6: More Education institutions have celebrated the Teachers Day yesterday.
Baldev Institute of Technology and Science (BIMTAS): The Teachers Day was celebrated by BIMTAS yesterday to commemorate the memory of Dr Radha Krishanan former President of India, a renowned educationist, philosopher and teacher. Prof Virender Gupta threw light on the life of Dr Radha Krishanan and spoke on the responsibility of teachers in the present competitive world where the knowledge is expanding with fast pace. On the occasion the MCA 5th semester students of the Institute honored their teachers and made power point presentation on the programme made by the institute since the day of its inception.
Arvind Ghosh Higher Secondary School: The Teachers’ Day was celebrated under the banner of J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides by Arvind Ghosh HSS Vijaypur yesterday. About 200 students and teachers of private schools of Vijaypur participated in the programme. These schools including Vaid HSS, Calvary Mission School and Government Higher Secondary School Vijaypur are also carrying the activities of Bharat Scouts and Guides. I D Soni State Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides was the chief guest. During their short speeches students threw light on the relationship between teachers and students.
T S Public School and Ero Kids: To celebrate the Teachers Day a function was organised by T S Public School and Ero Kids yesterday. The function was presided over by chairperson of T S Group of Educational institutions, Pooja Malhotra. A special Assembly was conducted by the students as a tribute to Dr S Radha Krishanan on his birthday and Bharat Vikas Parishad organised Guru Vandana on the occasion.
Government High School Patimahal Kishtwar: In connection with celebration of Teachers Day a function was organised by the GHS Patimahal yesterday in the premises of the School under the chairmanship of Headmaster Mohammed Hanif. Students from Class 6th to 10th participated in the function. The speakers threw light on the Teachers Day and few students from Class 10th, 9th and 8th acted as teachers on the occasion and took classes.
MHAC School Nagbani: In connection with celebration of Teachers’ Day a grand function was organised in the MHAC School Nagbani. The programme commenced on the religious note – a havan, which is the special feature of the school was performed. The School principal Alok Betab while addressing the staff members highlighted the importance of the Day and threw light on the life of great teacher Dr Radha Krishanan.
