More condemnations pour in for Surankote attack

JAMMU, Oct 12: Several more political or social organizations and their leaders have condemned the Surankote terrorist attack in which our five Army Jawans got martyrdom.
Expressing his shock over what he called an act of cowardice by militants in which five Army soldiers were martyred, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K executive member Raman Suri today said that scared of losing their ground and influence in Jammu and Kashmir, these cowards are now attacking civilians and soldiers covertly because they can’t fight any battle face to face with our valiant soldiers. He expressed sympathies with the families of deceased and added that the sacrifice of these brave hearts will encourage more youngsters to join Army and avenge such killings.
BJP OBC Morcha held a strong protest demonstration over Surankote terrorist attack at Paloura in Jammu. During the protest, BJP OBC Morcha workers burned Pakistani map, flag and Imran Khan’s photo. The protest was staged under the supervision of Kewal Verma (district president BJP OBC Morcha Jammu West). Speaking on the occasion, Braham Jyot Satti (president of the Morcha) condemned the cowardly terrorist attack and said that these kind of inhumane acts are not tolerable at all. He said the sacrifice of our Jawans will not go in vain and the country will take its revenge.
Expressing shock and anguish over the perpetually un-abated killings of innocent people in J&K in general and now in Surankote, the AAP Jammu said that not only exposes the seriousness of the remote controlled approach of the Central Government but also brings to surface its fake nationalism which they proclaim from every roof top. The Party added that news of martyrdom of 5 Jawans has shivered the spine of every citizen.
“The terror attack in Pir Panjal Poonch area is highly condemnable in which our five brave hearts sacrificed their lives. I pay condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief,” said social activist Gurmeet Singh Baaghi. He said people of J&K will not be lured into the attempts of creating divides in society as they want to take forward Jammu and Kashmir together. People of Jammu and Kashmir are against terrorists and terrorism, he added.
Meanwhile, a strong protest demonstration against civilian killings in Kashmir was held today at Bagh-e-Bahu Chowk Bahu Fort, Jammu under the leadership of Sham Lal Basson, Corporator Ward Number 48 in which people from all walk of life participated. The protesting people appealed Prime Minister of India and LG Administration to provide security and safety to inter-district employees, Sikhs and Kashmiri Pandits so that they may have sigh of relief.
