Various literary organisations, NGOs, social scientists, bureaucrats and Ministers have been advocating for introducing moral education in schools to make sutdents aware of the teachings of social/religious teachers with the aim of producing a just and humane society.
But, no one is making any sincere effort in this direction. Had a sincere attempt been made by these people, the subject would have been introduced in all educational institutions by this time. Introducing moral education is need of the hour. In a society that is witnessing steep decline in values and is passing through a crisis-social in particular, moral education would stop this decline, and help build a society that respect human values and humanity.
Otherwise, the moral degeneration will create such condition as would not be conducive for our social political and moral growth. It will be a society of vandals, goons and charlatans.
