NEW DELHI, Apr 6: Prices of moong and its dal rose by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on scattered demand from retailers against limited arrivals from producing belts.
However, other pulses held steady in limited deals.
Traders said scattered demand from retailers and limited arrivals from producing belts mainly led to rise in moong and its dal prices.
In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local moved up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,400-5,900 and Rs 5,900-6,300 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,700-4,100, Urad Chilka (local) 4,550-4,900, best 5,000-5,500, Dhoya 5,500-5,700, Moong 5,400-5,900, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,900-6,300, Moong Dhoya local 6,250-6,350 and best quality 6,950-7,050.
Masoor small 4,200-4,400, bold 4,350-4,600, Dal Masoor local 4,900-5,000, best quality 5,000-5,100, Malka local 4,700-4,800, best 4,900-5,000, Moth 3,600-4,200, Arhar 4,450-5,000, Dal Arhar Dara 6,150-6,350. Besin Rajdhani and shaktibhog Rs 1700 each per 35 kg bag.
Gram 3,350-3,700, Gram Dal (local) 4,000-4,100, best quality 4,300-4,400, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,700, Rajdhani 1,700, Rajmah Chitra 8,500-9,700, Kabli Gram small 4,000-6,100, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,500-4,600, Peas white 2,700-2,725 and green 2,800-2,850. (PTI)
