JAMMU, Jan 23: The month long hawan during the Maagh month commenced today at Shiv Mandir, 5, 7 Trikuta Nagar.
The hawan has been organized by the Management Committee of the Temple under the supervision of President Devinder Seth.
While speaking, Devinder Seth informed that during the month long hawan, daily offerings will be offered for the universal peace and brotherhood. He added that the hawan will conclude on February 22 with puran aahuti.
He urged the people to participate in the hawan and seek blessings of the deities.
Apart from management committee members, Lahman Sharma, vice president, PP Sharma, besides many others were present on the occasion.
This hawan will be in addition to the regular monthly hawan performed in the temple complex on every sankranti under the religious guidance of Chuni Lal Sharma, head priest, President of temple Devinder Seth and trustees Hari Gandotra, MR Gupta, ML Gupta and OP Sharma.
