JAMMU, July 24: Natrang Director Balwant Thakur inaugurated Natrang’s much awaited “Monsoon Acting Workshop” for fresh new talents to learn and discover the realities of theatre and television.
The weeklong workshop is being conducted by Sunil Kumar Palwal, a graduate of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). This seven days session will involve flow of ideas and concepts about acting and television.
Sunil commenting on the workshop said that he wishes to share his life experiences with his students.
Balwant Thakur, Director of Natrang while inaugurating the workshop said that Jammu is full of robust and enthusiastic talent and he wishes to expose this city to opportunities and learning from experts.
Natrang always tries to bring in something fresh, saucy and entertaining to the city and this Monsoon Workshop is one such experiment. He said that the reason of choosing Sunil to conduct the Workshop was because the young talent needs to know the ground realities of television industry so that it helps them discover their talent and experience enormous learning.
The present workshop which will be a three hour session every day for a week will involve knowledge about film industry and various methods to adapt oneself in the industry, he added.
Among others present were Neeraj Kant, Mohit Sharma, Rahul Singh, Mohd. Yaseen, Sajra Qadir, Sushil Raina, Ashwani Bali, Sakshi Prakash, Uplaksh Singh Kotwal, Amarpreet Kandhari, Bhupesh Malhotra, etc.
