Sir,
India is going through a stage of metamorphosis and the after-shocks of this paradigm shift can be seen in every facet of life. Entry into Sabrimala and Shani Signapur temple in Ahmednagar are its repercussions in the women emancipation; Hardik patel and Rohit Vermula`s case are again two faces of the same coin trying to balance the extent of reservations and distributive justice.
A section of our society is taking these things as Modi led saffronisation of our ethos and values but these are the obvious stages of metamorphosis. In the idealogical stance of PM Modi, Make in India is an initiative, which has its dendrons well connected to the inclusive growth of our country.
India is a net importer in defense & space technology and we import 60 percent of our defense equipments. This manifests in our current account deficit (CAD) and negative BOP (Balance of Payments). Indigenization of defense technology is also important from two facts, first being India has the third largest army in the world and we spend only 2 percent of our GDP on defense. Second being, during the turbulent times, we cannot rely on the GPS of United States rather we can further develop IRNSS(Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) seeking for better and independent communication and positioning system.
In the field of Space technology, we have already started the indigenization by launching ASTROSAT and Mangalyan; MOM (Mars Orbiter Mission), thus making us one of the three powers to successfully land a rover over the Martian soil.
Our credibility and accuracy is unmatchable amongst the developing countries and we can further invest as well as rely on ISRO`s developmental plans to develop the rocket reusable technology.
Conclusively, Make in India is an important tool for inclusive growth of India. First by generation of employment and harvesting the demographic dividend. Secondly, by reducing the CAD and BOP; Prime Minister Modi`s Make in India will help India certainly improve her income and thus make the growth inclusive.
Yours etc…..
