JAMMU, Mar 20: BJP Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi is visiting here for campaigning on March 26.
According to party sources, Modi will straight way visit holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji, and pay obeisance there. After return, he will address a massive election rally at Hiranagar in Udhampur- Doda Constituency on the same day.
Sources said the Hiranagar being the Centre to both the Parliamentary Constituencies of Jammu and Udhampur was selected for Modi’s rally so that people form both the constituencies can reach there and hear him.
The venue of Mr Modi’s rally was decided in a meeting of the senior party leaders here today. The Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate will return in the evening to Union Capital, sources added.
Sources said that Modi’s visit has also attached importance in view of the decision of Congress Party to field Union Health Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad from Udhampur-Doda Constituency.
