VIJAYPUR , Nov 28: Modi Government is endeavoring hard to develop villages in tandem with cities with emphasis on improving standard of life there for inclusive growth and development of the nation as a whole,
This was stated by former Minister and senior BJP leader, Chander Prakash Ganga here, today.
Ganga, while addressing a series of public meetings at Derra Gandotra, Kothi Vijaypur, Koulpur and Khadergal villages, highlighted the achievements recorded in Vijaypur Constituency during his tenure as Industries Minister in the State.
“Empowerment of villages is being focused upon which is pre-requisite for empowerment of the nation by ensuring enhanced services to these parts”, the former MLA maintained.
He said that several innovative measures like promotion of small scale industries in rural areas, establishment of basic social and economic Infrastructure, local economic development, urban service centers for rural areas, poverty reduction strategies, skill development etc have been launched during BJP rule to see the villages emerge as modern entities. He said that such steps are key to empower villages so as to keep a check on rural migration as excessive urbanization is taking place at alarming rate thus creating an imbalance in availability of basic services in cities.
Counting achievements registered in the Constituency, he referred to establishment of two degree colleges at Vijaypur and Ramgarh blocks, execution of CRF projects worth Rs. 100 crore in Vijaypur Constituency which is a historic accomplishment, sanctioning of AIIMS, up gradation of infrastructure in PDD, up gradation of 300 transformers besides creation of new power stations.
Ganga also spelled out the innovative initiatives launched during Modi rule envisaging a total transformation in the power scenario of the State. “The far off and remote pockets of all three regions of the State have always been focused upon by the Government while extending the basic services”, asserted the former MLA. He said that the whole power supply system is being revamped and revitalized to ensure that nobody is deprived of this vital facility irrespective of their social or political affiliation.
