KATHUA, Apr 9: Vice president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir, Rekha Mahajan, addressed party workers during the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026 held at Kathua Mandal, emphasizing the importance of ideological commitment, organization discipline, and grassroots engagement.
The programme was organized under the presidentship of Mandal president Rahul Dev and witnessed the presence of several senior leaders, including district president, Updesh Andotra, State secretary, Arti Jasrotia, senior leaders, Prem Nath Dogra and Narinder Singh Charak, and Mandal Incharge, Shiv Dev.
In her address, Rekha Mahajan highlighted the vision and philosophy of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya, stating that his principle of Antyodaya-upliftment of the last person in society-continues to guide the policies and programmes of the BJP. She stressed that party workers must internalize these values and reflect them in their public service.
“This programme is not just about organizational learning but about strengthening our ideological roots. Every worker must understand the vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and work with dedication to serve society, especially the most marginalized sections,” Mahajan said.
She further urged party cadres to actively connect with people at the grassroots level and ensure effective implementation of government schemes.
Rekha Mahajan also lauded the transformative initiatives launched under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, stating that these programmes have significantly improved the lives of people across the country.
She highlighted flagship schemes aimed at inclusive development, economic empowerment, and social welfare, noting that they reflect the Government’s commitment to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.”
Highlighting the role of committed workers, she said that such programmes are essential for building a strong and responsive organization.
Speaking on the occasion, district president Updesh Andotra emphasized the importance of regular training programmes in enhancing the efficiency and dedication of party workers.
