JAMMU, May 26: Descri-bing  Narendra  Modi  led Govt at the Centre as most misleading and mis-informing,  All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesman, Raj Babbar (Rajya Sabha MP) today said that two years of this BJP Government has been proved as  only bundle of lies for the people of this country.
Talking to media-persons here today, AICC spokesman said that Modi Govt is working only on papers, advertisements and big hoardings  but on the ground there are only white lies. Modi himself is great event manger  and by organizing fairs and doing publicity, he is spreading  lies and befooling people of this country.  He said this Government has actually failed to deliver to the people and is trying to divert public attention by indulging in such activities.
Referring to the issue of price control,  Mr Babbar said when BJP was in opposition its leaders used to  strongly project voice against  price hike but now they are in the Government and have failed to control the price of diesel, petrol, essential commodities and many other items. The price of crude oil has gone so low in the international market but even then BJP Govt  failed to contain price of fuel.  They are only working  for the  big Corporate houses and not for the poor people of this country, farmers and the youth.  Modi Govt had promised to provide  two crores    jobs every year but after two years, they could give employment to only 1.34 lakh youth of the country. Not only this, about 20,000 job in the Corporate sector have been abolished in two years.
“They talked about big promises during election campaign but most of their promises have fallen flat. They have turned silent on bringing black money. They  projected many scams during UPA Govt but why they failed to prosecute any one.  Who have stopped them to take action against the people involved in scams.  They let the Vijay Malya go and siphon out thousands of crores of money outside the country.  Modi raised  Make in India and Digital India   campaigns but instead of  inviting outside  investment, over 14 Bn US Dollars  investment has been made by Indians outside the country in last two years.  This Govt which was opposing GST during UPA regime is  hell bent to implement without any debate in the Parliament ,” Mr Babbar maintained.
The AICC leader alleged that Modi Govt is anti-youth, anti-farmers and anti-poor and is only working for the Corporate  world and big industrialists. He said that Congress will totally expose this Govt which is trying to control big media houses and sending big advertisements of the works which are not on ground but merely on papers.  He was accompanied by former minister, Raman Bhalla and PCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma.
