NEW DELHI: Charging the NDA Government of having declared a war against the country and its people, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi on Monday accused the Union Government of becoming the mother of ”violence and partition”.
”The job of the Govenrmet is to maintain peace and amity, ensure law and order and save the Constitution. However, the BJP Governmet at the centre has declared a war against the country and its people. The Modi Government itself has become the mother of violence and partition,” Ms Gandhi said in a statement issued following widespread protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. (AGENCIES)
