JAMMU, Feb 11: Ashwani Sharma, BJP senior leader and former MLA accompanied by Ajay Vaid, party publicity secretary, listened to the grievances of the people during his weekly sitting at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here.
While interacting with the people in the public darbar, Ashwani Sharma said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi-led Government steered India to a strong, modern, well equipped and to a respectable position among the world powers. He said that due to the decisive governance under PM Modi, today the development has been reaching up to the door steps of the deserving population, which was neglected and the oppressed.
“BJP is driven by the principles of Antyodaya, the principle which believes that true development can only be achieved, when it reaches the last person, living in the most neglected sphere of the society. The Modi Government in the last 10 years has strived to address the needs and the concerns of the masses, which has helped the needy and the poor population to live their life with dignity” said Ashwani Sharma.
During the public darbar, people from Doda, Bishnah, Basohli, Ramnagar, and other areas highlighted their problems related to construction and repair of roads, repair of hand pumps, street light repair, upgradation of transformers etc. Their problems were taken up with the senior officials of the concerned departments for early disposals.
Ajay Vaid, who steered the darbar proceedings, maintained that the maximum issues presented by the deputations were addressed on the spot, while taking up the other issues with the concerned department officials for their early disposal.
