Modi Govt committed to women’s empowerment: Yudhvir Sethi

JAMMU, Sept 26: Yudhvir Sethi, vice president, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir has asserted that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government stands fully committed to women empowerment by providing them equal opportunities in every sector including trade, commerce and industries.
He stated this, while addressing a gathering after inaugurating ‘Vishu Cosmetics Store’ during a simple yet impressive function at Kali Janni here today. Prominent among others present on the occasion were renowned singer Sonali Dogra, Choreographer, Akash Dogra, vice president, Jammu East, Mandal Arun Sethi, president, OBC East Mandal, Tarun Tak, president Shopkeeper Welfare Association, Ajay Saini, Jammu Caterers owner, Ramesh Kumar (Shuna); president Social Welfare Committee, Jawahar Nagar Ward No.16 Rajan, Lucky Anand, Ankit, Varun Tak, Rajinder Kumar and Deepak Bhardwaj.
Yudhvir Sethi complimented the owner of the business venture Ranjana for starting her own income generating unit that will not only ensure handsome income to her but will also provide jobs to needy youth when unemployment has been a measure issue in the society. He said that she deserves all the kudos to become job provider instead of job seeker thus partnering proactively in the development of this Union Territory besides, contributing not only her own economic welfare but also contributing little bit to the economy of the Union Territory.
Yudhvir Sethi said that unemployment is a significant issue faced by the youth today despite Government’s best efforts in the direction of resolving the same. However, given the totality of circumstances along with the multiple schemes launched by the Prime Minister, Modi led Government at the Centre especially for women, it is the women who must come forward to avail the benefits of such schemes aimed at making them job providers instead of wasting their time in job seeking. He said that the Union Government is committed to address the concerns of women on priority.
