Mochi Watal & Safai Karamchari Union projects demands

JAMMU, Apr 11: Jammu Province Mochi Watal and Safai Karamchari Union held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Ghulam Ali.
In the meeting, various issues were discussed at length. President of the Union raised issues regarding the injustice done with the poor section of the Safai karamcharies, who have been serving under worst circumstances.
Ghulam Ali stated that Sunday should be kept as holiday for the poor safai karamcharies at par with other Government employees, who have also been granted holiday on Sunday.
He demanded release of pending arrears of safai-karamcharies for their services till date, deserving SKCs should be regularized, arrears of all SKCs should be released regularly, appointments should be made on the vacant lying posts at various places including hospitals, bank, municipal committees etc.
He urged the administration to redress the grievances of the karamcharies of the Shrine Board Katra without further delay.
