Mobile phones snatcher arrested

POONCH, Dec 9: Jhullas police arrested a mobile phones snatcher.
As per police sources, a complaint of mobile phone theft was received at police post Jhullas.
Acting accordingly, police team swung into action and laid nakas. The cops asked a pedestrian to stop, as he was moving under suspicious circumstances. The pedestrian tried to escape, but the cops chased and nabbed him after a brief chase.
During search, police recovered stolen mobile phone from this possession and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Tahir, son of Afsar Ali, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
A case under FIR Number 196/16 under Section 379 RPC has been registered against the accused and investigation started.
