JAMMU, Nov 21: Senior leader of BJP & MLC Ashok Khajuria today donated one ambulance to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Kahal Jugasar Tipri of Bhaderwah in Doda district out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The ambulance was donated at a function held here, today by Ashok Khajuria who was accompanied by senior BJP leaders and his supporters.
The equipped with state of arts health gadgets, the ambulance with an estimated cost of Rs13.50 lakh was donated by BJP leader as an initiative to bring better health care to help the poor and needy people living in far remote area of Kahal Jugasar Tipri of Bhaderwah.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Khajuria said that it is his great pleasure to spare funds from his CDF for the benefit of the poor and needy patients. He reiterated that he will continue to contribute in future also for the welfare of people living in remote areas of the State. Locals leaders and residents besides health department has acknowledged donation of the ambulances which will help locals to get sick and ailing people immediately to the SDH Bhaderwah, district Hospital Doda or GMC&H Jammu in case of emergencies.
