Srinagar, Oct 12: Three legislators of the opposition parties today walked out of Muharram review meeting chaired by Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, at SKICC here.
The MLA Khansahab and Chairman Peoples’ Democratic Front Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, National Conference MLA and senior leader, Mohammad Akbar Lone and Congress leader, Asgar Ali Karbalie, walk out of the meeting as “no seats were reserved for them”.
The Principle Secretary to Chief Minister BB Vyas, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Asghar Hassan Samoon and IGP Kashmir, SJM Gillani apologized on behalf of Government for its failure to reserve chairs for them. They urged them to come back to attend the meeting. However, the legislators didn’t return in protest.
