MENDHAR, Sept 26: Former Minister and PDP MLA from Mendhar, Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan, has undergone kidney transplant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi today.
According to family sources, Mr Khan was not keeping well for the past several months due to poor functioning of kidneys. The doctors suggested for the kidney transplant. He was successfully operated upon by doctors at the Delhi Hospital today. His close relative, Bashir Khan from Gursai donated one kidney to the MLA for saving his life.
