BISHANH, Dec 17: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate for Bishnah constituency, Krishan Kumar Digra, who is also chairman, Education Cell and spokesperson of the party, today alleged that incumbent MLA has totally neglected the Bishnah constituency.
“The sitting MLA of the constituency has totally neglected the constituency particularly villages like Chak Majara, Taraf, Karyal Manahasan, Pasgal, Murchapur, Shivo Chak, Bhadurpur and Nandpur, which are facing directly Pakistan rangers and their atrocities”, Digra said while interacting with locals in various parts of the constituency.
He said that for last 12 years the local MLA except changing parties has only helped his known followers and continuously neglected most deserving villages, which fall on the extreme border areas. The entire constituency has been ignored and the villages do not have proper roads and school buildings, he added.
Digra said the water from Ranbir Canal does not reach to the tail end resulting into bad condition of the distributaries which are totally blocked with all sort of silt resulting into loss to famous Basmati rice.
He said that with the efforts of NCP State president, Thakur Randhir Singh, one seat of merit in each private engineering college of Maharashta was reserved for the children of border people, policemen, paramilitary forces and Army, but it is unfortunate that nobody guided these categories to be benefited like Kashmiri migrants.
He assured the border people whether he is elected as MLA or not but as chairman of Education Cell of NCP, he will organize meetings of the students and their parents of entire border area to get these benefits.
