MLA saves livelihood of poor shopkeeper

JAMMU, Sept 17: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jammu East Rajesh Gupta saved the livelihood of a poor shopkeeper in ward no 15 in Daru Giran Mohalla today.
The said shopkeeper was running his business from the shop belonging to the Custodian Department for a long time and recently the Department had closed his shop without any justifiable reason.
It was only due to the intervention of the MLA Rajesh Gupta that the poor shopkeeper managed to save his shop from closure at the hands of the Custodian Department.
MLA Rajesh Gupta held a meeting with the officer of the Custodian Department namely Mushtaq Ahmad and instructed him to treat the custodian property dwellers in a humane manner.
Among others present were Prof Shyam, Rajinder, Rajeev Bhardwaj, Karan Singh, Dalip, Tinku, Manav, Dhan Swaroop, Kuldeep, Amit, Chaman Lal and Gopal.
