MLA lays foundation stone of two roads

RAJOURI, Oct 24: Former Minister and MLA Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Khan laid foundation stone of two new roads being constructed with the cost of Rs 3.87 crore.
These two roads are being constructed from New District Hospital to Nazamia Colony and from University to Choudhary Nar, with the cost of Rs 1.31 crore and Rs 2.26 crore, respectively. While speaking on the occasion the MLA said that the roads are the life line of any area for development and with these roads over 15,000 people will be benefitted directed.
Mr Khan said that in last five years 42 % increase in the road infrastructure has been witnessed in Rajouri constituency. He said that over all development has been witnessed in the entire are and Doongi-Garati has received the Tehsil status which was long pending demand. He said several areas have received new administrative units and new health centers have been provided at many places. He said the new health sub-centres have also been provided at Ponthal, Dheridhara, Parran, Basali, Kalidab, Salogra, Goddar, Nowran and many other places. The people will get medical facilities at their door steps.
