JAMMU, Feb 27: MLA Kishtwar, Sunil Kumar Sharma called on Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today and discussed various issues related to his constituency.
During the meeting, MLA requested the DGP to strengthen the community policing and youth development initiatives in his constituency. He also discussed the issue of drug abuse and requested the DGP for stern action against the peddlers involved in the menace. He also discussed the law and order situation in the constituency and requested to strengthen the police public relations for conducive atmosphere in the area.
Mr. Rajendra assured that the points raised would be addressed properly.
