JAMMU, Feb 10: Member Legislative Assembly (East), Ashok Khajuria inaugurated Hall-cum-Laboratory at Government Higher Secondary School Jullaka Mohalla constructed by PWD at Rs. 6.30 lakh under Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Chief Education Officer, Jammu, Tarsaim Lal, Principal of School, Zonal Education Officer besides staff and school management and Development Committee members were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, MLA said that education is basic tool for all round development of the society and it enable students to shoulder any future responsibility. He called upon the teaching community to mould students with modern and value based education for competing present global challenges on all fronts.
He assured full support for infrastructural development of school so that students from under privileged and neglected sections would be provided quality education. He urged the parents to send their wards in Government schools as these schools have highly qualified and skilled faculty.
CEO Jammu highlighted the schemes and achievements of education department and asked teachers to work with honesty, zeal and dedication to provide best education to the students in their respective institutions.
