MENDHAR, May 31: Member Legislative Assembly, Javed Ahmed Rana chaired the meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) of Sub District Hospital, Mendhar here today.
Rana, who is Chairman of RKS, had detailed deliberation on various issues regarding the functioning of these centres besides discussing innovative measures to further better the services being extended to the patients in these institutions.
The meeting was attended by SDM, Tanvir Khan, BMO, Dr Pervaiz Khan, members of RKS beside ASHA workers.
MLA took a comprehensive review of the functioning of the institution and asked the hospital administration to ensure availability of medicines and proper medicare to the patients.
Other issues like power and water supply, cleanliness, drainage and sanitation etc in the institution were also discussed in details. He also reviewed the progress of works of health institutions at Dhargloon, Salwa, Ghani and Chungaan and directed the concerned executing agencies to take adequate steps to expedite these works.
The MLA said that he has fulfilled his promise of 24/7 power supply to SDH Mendhar. Doctors and patients had to face many difficulties due to power cuts. But now this hospital will have uninterrupted power supply. Rana said that the last year one Critical Care Ambulance was provided to this hospital under CDF, now he aims at providing one more each for border belt of Mankote and Balakote.
Rana assured the hospital administration that requisite steps will be taken to equip the health institutions with all modern facilities and upgraded infrastructure.
