UDHAMPUR, Feb 11: In a monthly meeting chaired by former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia here today people from every nook and corner of Udhampur expressed views on the report of Delimitation Commission.
Addressing the gathering Mankotia said that people have been affected by not aligning many areas with Assembly Constituency near them.
He said that people from Panchari Moungri informed him that their area was divided into three Assembly Constituencies due to which even today the area has remained backward lacking many basic facilities.
Mankotia also said that people from different Assembly Constituencies discussed basic problem like water, electricity, road etc.
Prominent among those present in the meeting were Dhaniram Attri, Amarnath Mehra, Jagdev Singh Jagga, Councillor Samnik Bhasin, Councillor Jagdish Kumar, Councillor Asha Devi, Sarpanch Surjit Singh, many more Sarpanches, Panches and others.
