UDHAMPUR, Mar 22: A missing youth was found dead in Champal nallah in village Krowa Jaganoo, Udhampur.
Reports said that the dead body of Parveen Singh (26), son of Rajinder Singh, resident of Sunal Jaganoo Udhampur, was spotted this morning in Champal nallah in village Krowa Jaganoo, by some locals.
On being informed, SHO Udhampur Raghuvir Singh along with a police team reached the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary room of Udhampur District Hospital.
According to the family members, the deceased was missing since March 18 from his house at village Sunal.
Even as police have initiated inquest proceedings under 194 BNSS in this regard, preliminary investigation hint that the deceased committed suicide by jumping into the nallah after some family dispute.
