RAMBAN, June 17: Police today recovered the missing rifle and ammunition of Village Defence Committee (VDC) SPO from Ghor Genote.
Police spokesman said that, VDC SPO Shamsher Singh of Genote lodged a complaint that his rifle 303 along with ammunition 93 rounds issued to him from Police Station Ramban has been missing from his house.
On this, police registered a case under FIR number 72/13 under Section 409 RPC 30 IA Act at Police Station Ramban and started investigation.
During the course of investigation, police recovered the rifle along with ammunition from Ghor Genote.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
