Missing minor traced out from Mumbai

JAMMU, Feb 23: Akhnoor Police traced out a missing minor boy from Mumbai, who had left the house to try his luck in the Bollywood Industry.
As per police sources, on February 10 this year, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Akhnoor regarding missing of a child namely Vansh Kumar (17), son of Mohinder Kal, a resident of Tanda kotli, Akhnoor District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 24/2022 under Section 363 IPC was lodged at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation was started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Inspector Hilal Azhar and assisted by PSI Manoj Kumar was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor.
On the basis of technical inputs and after connecting various leads, a team headed by PSI Manoj was deputed to New Delhi. On further inputs, the team proceeded to Madhya Pradesh and later Mumbai from where the minor boy was finally recovered.
On investigation, it came to fore that the minor had left home to try his luck in Bollywood.
Later after proper counselling, the minor boy was handed over to family.
