KISHTWAR, May 20: The dead body of a missing man was recovered today from a forest.
Deepak Ram (55) son of Basa Ram of Darjani Trigam had gone to nearby forest on May 7 at around 8 am but did not return back following which a missing report was lodged by his family members at police post Shalimar.
A manhunt was launched to trace the missing man. Finally joint efforts of locals and police yielded results and the dead body of the missing man was found in the forest. After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
