JAMMU, Apr 1: Khour police reunited a man with his family members after 8 years.
As per police sources, a person who appeared to be mentally unsound was found roaming near Baldev Chowk in the jurisdiction of Police Station Khour a few days ago.
On enquiry, he disclosed his name as Lalu Majhi and claimed to be a resident of Sajhauti, Hayaghat District Darbhanga, Bihar.
The team at Police Station Khour immediately contacted Police Station Hayagath in Bihar and after sharing details and photographs of the said person, contact was established with family members of the person.
It came to light that the person had been missing for the last 8 to 9 years.
Today, the family members of the person reached Police Station Khour and the missing man was handed over to them after completion of legal formalities.
