Missing Kupwara teen handed over by Pak

Srinagar, July 30: A missing teenager who had crossed over the Line of Control was handed over by Pakistani authorities to administration at Line of Control at Teethwal in Karnah sector today in presence of Army and police officials.
The 16-years-old, a student of Higher Secondary School Tadd area, had crossed over the LoC in January this year and was detained there by the Pakistan army and remained under their detention for around six months.
A resident of Sudpora, Kupwara was detained by Pakistan army on January 29, and was under detention there for all these months but recently a communication was made about handing over of the boy under the set norms.
The official said that the boy is too young and will be handed over to family members but most probably prior to that he will be sent to Kupwara district headquarters for further course of action and investigation is must in such cases.
