NEW DELHI : The issue of missing Indian Air Force AN-32 plane again figured in the Lok Sabha today with Congress Member Deepender Hooda expressing concern over uncertainty about fate of 29 occupants of the plane even after a lapse of seven days.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Mr Hooda said, “The plane is missing since Friday morning and families and friends of the passengers are worried over the situation and whereabouts of their dear ones.
”There are reports that the Russia has got an equipment that can help in locating the plane and its occupants. The government should speak to Russian authorities for availing this instrument for the search operation.”
The Congress Member also sought a statement from the Home Minister (Rajnath Singh).
