UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: A young housewife, who was missing from the house of her in-laws in Battal, was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in Dudar Nallah, Battal Balian, Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Anju Devi (30) wife of Ranjeet Singh. She was missing from her house since September 9.
On getting information, Police party reached the spot and took the dead body in its custody. Later the body was sent to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Police has registered a case in this connection under section 174 RPC for further investigation.
